Valency - Element Management System for Mobile WiMax
V-EMS for Mobile WiMax is a Rich Internet Application(RIA), beyond standard FCAPS built with easy-to-use interfaces and provisions to plug-in user defined customizations. It is a Carrier Grade Web Application, already proven. The out-of-the-box development and utility tools available with us simplifies your product development cycle and cost drastically.
Mobile functionality of V-EMS is specifically designed to effectively monitor and control various basic operations of EMS. This MobiEMS supports several mobile devices and the support for new devices is continuously being upgraded.
MobiEMS communicates with V-EMS server via REST APIs and comes with a simple easy-to-use user interface. Communication from MobiEms and V-Ems server can be established through LAN / WAN or internet.
Alarms
Alarms are notifications about network or hardware faults to the EMS server. Valency Mobi EMS Alarm operations are made easy for the End – User. Valency Mobi EMS is capable of handling both SNMP V1 and SNMP V2C traps more efficiently. Valency Mobi EMS enables the operators to instantly know all Events and Alarms in the system. All unresolved Alarms are shown to the user in an elegant and easily readable format.
Severity Indication
V-EMS for Mobile WiMax follows standards to represent the Alarm in the Alarm Window. Alarms are categorized from Critical to Infrastructure for ease of identification. Critical Alarms are popped-up on all pages on the mobile to draw operator's attention.
Alarm Filtering
Valency MobiEMS also has advanced filtering facility on alarms . The Alarms can be filtered based on the specific network elements or the various alarm severity levels. Valency Mobi EMS can be configured to escalate specific alarms to users through mail. View on alarm summary raised by various sources, grouped by Alarm Severity or category is also available.
Network View
MobiEms represents the NEs on a topological view. The topological view supports various color codes to represent the NE alarm states, with support to escalate the alarm color code to the highest Node in the tree.
